Summer Plans?

As the school year winds down, summer plans (or lack thereof) are on the minds of parents and students. Sometimes the best summers come together at the last minute, created entirely by students themselves. Think: starting a blog to explore an interest, launching a dog walking/car washing/fill-in-the-blank business on Nextdoor, teaching a neighborhood little leaguer how to throw a curveball, volunteering for a local organization, or diving more deeply into an academic interest.

I’ve shared this blog post before and am resharing it in hopes that it provides some inspiration. Though initially created during COVID lockdown, the ideas are just as helpful today.

Happy summer to all! May it be equal parts productive and restorative to the hard-working students in your life.
