A recent morning at the University of San Diego gave more depth to my knowledge of this private, Roman Catholic university. I was impressed by the campus’s gorgeous views of the beaches and downtown San Diego (hi Sea World!) and the strong focus on career outcomes with support/guidance for internships and experiential learning. Also, USD has no impacted majors - that’s a bonus for students interested in exploring options before declaring their major.
My two high school sophomores named the athletic facilities, study abroad opportunities, and abundance of outdoor gathering spaces across campus as tour highlights.
For interested seniors, USD’s Fall 2022 deadline is coming up on December 15 via the Common Application.
