Hello and welcome!
I am a dedicated higher education professional with years of experience in college advising.
I graduated with distinction from the University of California, San Diego (BA, Communication) and Stanford University (MA, Education).
I began my career advising MBA students at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. I then spent six years working with undergraduate students as an Academic Counselor at the University of California, San Diego's Eleanor Roosevelt College. At UCSD, I rose to the position of Assistant Dean of Academic Advising, working with students from freshman orientation up until their graduation. I advised students on such issues as academic success, course selection, major choice, study abroad, career options, and more.
I achieved a certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California, Irvine's Division of Continuing Education.
Recently, I was an external reader of freshman applications for the University of California, Irvine. I also volunteered weekly as a College Counselor for disadvantaged students at Casa de Amistad in North San Diego County for four years.
I am an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC).
I find so much joy in helping students find the right fit colleges to meet their needs. I look forward to working with you!
