How do I research colleges during shelter-in-place?

With spring break around the corner (and a pause from distance learning), here are some ways juniors can use their free time at home to make progress on their college list:

1. Research possible colleges and majors. Great resources: bigfuture.collegeboard.org and The Fiske Guide (available on amazon).

2. Attend a virtual tour/admissions presentation. Contact the Admissions Office at a campus of interest for more info or check out youvisit.com or search by campus on YouTube.

3. Start working on your college essays. Check out the 2020-2021 Common App application questions here: https://www.commonapp.org/apply/essay-prompts
